CPGB London seminars

The world has been gripped by economic crisis for five years now, and there seems no end in sight.

All kinds of establishment worthies - from John Gray to the Archbishop of Canterbury, from leader writers in the Financial Times to billionaire George Soros have started peppering their writing and speeches with references to Karl Marx’s seminal work, Capital. Every time they do, they simply underline the fact that they are very unlikely to have actually read it.

But with the world economy in tailspin - and millions driven to desperation and protest - now is surely the time to find out what Marx *really* said about capitalism, the market and crisis.

The Communist Party of Great Britain is convening weekly seminars on Capital which began on Sunday, May 6 (venue details below). Join us to discuss what makes capitalism tick, what makes it periodically stop ticking and how we can put a stop to it for good.
Including a political report and open discussion of the week's political events.

Every Sunday, 5pm,
Calthorpe Arms, 252 Grays Inn Road, WC1X 8JR. (map)
